Riccione since 2005 has created a wonderful gallery of modern and contemporary art which is based at a luxury historic building, Villa Franceschi.

This charming villa is the harmony which has been furnished and structured for the attention to detail and the mixture of tendencies with which it was designed, n eogotico, neoclassical and art nouveau.

The spacious rooms of Villa Franceschi precious works are exhibited that go with the interior of the house, including some paintings, a civic art collection of enriched and formed thanks to generous donations over the years and finally the precious "Archangels Collection" of properties of the Emilia Romagna region and representing the artistic landscape of postwar Bologna.

Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Villa Franceschi in Riccione is formed by an interesting and prestigious location divided into nine rooms, which are works of art movements of the twentieth century: sculptures, paintings, drawings, contemporary artists of our area as Alberto Sauces, Virgilio Guidi, Pompilio Mandelli.
