All around Riccione there are beautiful green areas and parks, just outside city limits you will be immersed in unspoiled natural environment. An hinterland really rich with orchards, woods, forests, enchanted caves: in the  hinterland of the province of Rimini , there are many parks and natural reserves to visit.

From the Wildlife reserve of Marano to Conca's Bird sanctuary , you can discover wild places where you can spend days outdoors.

Near Riccione, you can easily reach the Onferno caves , passed Gabicce the Natural Park of Monte San Bartolo , and the forests of Mondaino and Montescudo . For those who want to combine the pleasure of a walk, with information on plants and animals there is the 'Natural Observatory of Valmarecchia .

But the most fascinating areas rich with historical buildings, villages and medieval castles are Valmarecchia and Valconca ,this land was ruledby the Malatesta family, lords of Rimini,and was flourishing in the Middle Ages.
